From November 25 to January 8 2023
Friday, November 25, to Sunday, January 8, 2023, the McCord Stewart Museum, with the support of iÖGO nanö, will offer special programming around the return of the iconic Ogilvy Christmas mechanical windows that have enchanted Montrealers for over 70 years. Visitors of all ages are invited to rediscover The Mill in the Forest and The Enchanted Village and to take part in the fun related activities.
In addition to the mechanical windows from Ogilvy’s department store, four exhibitions are presented in the Museum’s galleries.
The public is encouraged to take part in the Welcome! Want to Play? toy drive by bringing a used toy in good condition to the Museum.
Those who are nostalgic for recipes from yesteryear can explore the webpage What’s Cooking in Our Archives, a selection of 18th to 21st century recipes to test over the holidays.
Lastly, December will also be an opportunity to discover the new Café Notman.
In short, the Museum will host a range of holiday programming, perfect for fun family outings.
