LIGHTING PLAN

The Village of Montreal is illuminating this winter thanks to the lighting plan, with the contribution of Tourisme Montréal. Come and walk along Sainte-Catherine Street East, Atateken Street and Papineau Avenue to admire the winter decorations and lights.

EXHIBITION PROJECT - TUBULARS

For a second edition, the "Proud Colors" tubulars are back on Sainte-Catherine Street East, between Berri and Cartier streets. Visitors will be able to walk around and admire the tubulars, like an open-air exhibition that celebrates diversity.

In addition to bringing more light to the area, the tubulars present a tribute to the 2SLGBTQIA+ communities that make up the very heart of the Village of Montreal's identity.

First presented for the 2020-2021 season, the return of this great project, imagined by the Daily tous les jours studio and entitled "Fières couleurs / Proud Colours", will provide the deserved visibility to this exhibition that has been greatly affected by the pandemic. On the 140 tubulars installed, we discover the history of the flags of sexual and gender diversity from yesterday to today in a wandering path through the Village. This renewed edition of "Proud Colors" was made possible thanks to the support of the Arrondissement de Ville-Marie.
