In the heart of downtown, let yourself be transported by the magic of the lights on Peel Street and travel back in time by discovering the origins of the history of the Kanien’kehá:ka clans!

This year in downtown, on Peel Street you can discover the story of the origins of the Rotinonhsión:ni clan system, a story that takes back to immemorial times. Through different illuminations installed on Peel Street, you will learn more about the different clans, their composition, the animal that represent them but also the archaeological discoveries that have been made on this street!

An initiative in collaboration with the Mohawk Council of Kahnawake, KORLCC and with the support of the borough of Ville-Marie.
